Henry Kivimaki - Candidate for Yerrabi
Raised in the ACT, Henry began his working Career as a Carpenters assistant in the mid-1990s .
Gaining experience in the ACT construction industry and in his trade, he began to run his own business and build his team at the age of 22.
Over the years, Henry has taught and mentored may apprentices in his field of expertise.
Henry has been a volunteer in his local church since his childhood.
Henry and his wife and children continue to serve as volunteers.
Volunteering and serving are a foundational part of their world view and philosophy.
Christian ministry, youth ministries, children’s ministries has allowed Henry and his wife to develop their own capacities in mentoring and encouraging people and the younger generations to be serious about their faith and applying it to their own lives which will then positively affect the greater community.
Over the years, as Henry's family grew, Henry went back to his studies and completed a Diploma in Building and Construction management and attained his B class Builders Licence.
Henry currently manages his own small construction and renovation company.
Spending time with his family, wife and 3 children is always a highlight of his week and also finding the time to go camping and fishing and enjoying the great outdoors is a highlight.

Political Donations in the ACT
Political donations for ACT political entities are regulated by the Electoral Act 1992 (ACT) (‘the Act’). Sections 222F-222Q of the Electoral Act 1992 (ACT) (‘the Act’) bans some potential donors from giving gifts to ACT political entities from accepting gifts from prohibited donors. Prohibited donors are certain property developers and their close associates, foreign entities; and any person who acts on behalf of a property developer, a close associate of a property developer or a foreign entity.
Also in accordance with the Act, all donations totalling $1000.00 AUD or more per financial year from a single donor entity will be reported and publicly disclosed by the ACT Electoral Commissioner.
By submitting a donation, I confirm that I am not a prohibited donor as defined under the Act.
