Bruce Gartshore works in the IT industry and is a proud Canberra resident of over 40 years.

Raised in a close-knit family, Bruce values the importance of family and cherishes time spent with loved ones. Bruce is married, a father of four children and has two grandchildren.

Faith is an integral part of Bruce’s life, he is passionate about building a future for our children where they can grow up in a community built on Christian values that creates a bright future for generations to come.

In Bruce’s spare time he volunteers, actively participates in local community events, enjoys family strolls around Canberra’s picturesque lakes and is handy with vehicle mechanics and home maintenance projects.

Political Donations in the ACT

Political donations for ACT political entities are regulated by the Electoral Act 1992 (ACT) (‘the Act’). Sections 222F-222Q of the Electoral Act 1992 (ACT) (‘the Act’) bans some potential donors from giving gifts to ACT political entities from accepting gifts from prohibited donors. Prohibited donors are certain property developers and their close associates, foreign entities; and any person who acts on behalf of a property developer, a close associate of a property developer or a foreign entity.

 Also in accordance with the Act, all donations totalling $1000.00 AUD or more per financial year from a single donor entity will be reported and publicly disclosed by the ACT Electoral Commissioner.
